Developing Decision-Making Technologies

UDRI develops cognitively inspired autonomous intelligent agents within government research programs. The agents we develop use domain and procedural knowledge to compose and select between alternative courses of action for platform autonomy applications. This provides decision-aiding and mission-planning services for command and control (C2) autonomy (goal-based decision aiding in human-machine teaming).

Our researchers build these agents using AFRL’s Cognitively Enhanced Complex Event Processing (CECEP), which is a service-oriented, net-centric cognitive framework that enables effective integration of disparate artificial intelligence technologies.
