Profile

Andrew Thompson is an electrical engineer with nearly a decade of experience in positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) software, hardware integration and remote flight testing. His current research focus is alternative navigation sensor interfacing and remote flight testing support. He has served as a flight test engineer in nearly three dozen flight test events and currently holds a FAA Class 3 medical certification. He leads UDRI’s Positioning, Navigation and Timing group and manages two distinct research and development teams.
