Profile

Blaze Baker serves as Director of Research Information Technology & Cybersecurity at the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI), where he leads enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity strategy, and regulatory compliance in support of UDRI’s research mission. He provides oversight of infrastructure, secure network architecture, cloud environments, and cybersecurity operations across unclassified, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) programs.

With more than 20 years of experience in information technology and assurance management, Baker specializes in enterprise architecture, risk management, and the protection of sensitive government and research information systems. His leadership focuses on strengthening security posture, implementing scalable and compliant IT solutions, and building high-performing technical teams aligned with federal and Department of Defense requirements.
